My body disappears so often in the Spirit of Paris that I’d rather not. But I can recommend some good in-person guides in Paris<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you always wear a top hat?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No, but I confess to being in a 19th century phase, maybe because of Belgrand’s aqueduct and the 150th anniversary of the Paris Commune. But I also love wearing tricorn hats when I go to Versailles<\/a> or Vaux-le-Vicomte<\/a>. And I go “plainclothes” when I need to be discreet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you recommend a good restaurant\/hotel?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To each their own, YMMV… With my frame of reference, businesses come and go in the blink of an eye! For example, my favourite cocktail bar, \u00c0 la fran\u00e7aise<\/em>, disappeared years ago, but I still feel like I spent last night in its underground boudoir! I will try to put some reviews up on TripAdvisor<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you take me to the forbidden parts of the catacombs, or recommend a guide?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

No, it is illegal and dangerous. However I will take you for a walk above both the legal and illegal parts of the Catacombs, and even reveal the location of Lupin’s secret entrance to the Catacombs in this audio tour.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
